Can you actually believe it?  Or did you really ever have any doubt?  This government that we have here is run by feuding criminals (Democrats and Republicans) that look at the citizens of America as a tax base and personal income generator.  If we don't take charge and demand a popular vote that will allow independents to have an equal chance at running this government, then we get what we deserve.  The real reason that only 30 to 40 percent of Americans vote is that we are getting to the point in this country that the President is really the KING and the congress is his jesters.  Who listens to the slaves?  No one!  There is a definite line between the classes and that affects the decisions made by our courts and our politicians.  "Let them eat Cake!"  RIng a bell.... They just have no clue and probably never will until we change their attitude by voting independent.  Eventually, they will get the message, but I find it difficult to believe that Americans will stand up and take a step in that direction. 

Its all soooo clear to me, but maybe I'm just not very clear when I try to express my views; or maybe I am very clear and the liberals that try to turn things around are just back in the mode of game playing.
I am neither Democrat nor am I Republican!  It is as if I am allergic to chocolate and vanilla, but unfortunately for me these are the only two flavors I have to choose from or I get nothing and that is exactly what I get .... NOTHING.
To me, there is just Black and White.  It's either wrong or right and sometimes the innocent get hurt by association.
I am formerly from Louisiana (the bed of Political Corruption); so I do know a little about what I am discussing.  It travels from the top Democrat to the top Republican and through the heart of every cop that wears a badge in Louisiana.  It is all about the money.  If you are one of the naive Americans that thinks that the seat belt law was passed to protect you, APRIL FOOL on you.  It is about generating funds to pay for the roads and the police department so that people don't think of it as a tax.   Well, I'm tired of all the hidden agendas... JUST TAX ME and GET IT OVER WITH!
In my last post, I wrote about WIlliam Jefferson and that the man who was caught with 90G in his freezer said that he would fight through the courts no matter what the cost to clear his name.  You can't compare this to the attack on Iraq.  The one thing that you can not deny is that we were attacked by radical MUSLIMS and that is without a doubt, so from my stand point those countries are lucky that we didn't boom IRAN, SYRIA, AFGHANISTAN, and IRAQ.  If you are not on our side, you are against us.  Basically, Iraq was strategy: and not about a President's Lies.
But, I regress!  Back to William Jefferson!   I do believe in the process of innocent until proven guilty, but when the evidence is overwhelming; and you are tried then the loopholes created by the rich lawyers and judges need to be shut by the real people that are truly affected....US THE AMERICAN PEOPLE who are taken to the cleaners because of the endless appeals process.  The problem is that these people running our country have endless funds and strike deals left and right without the fear of real jail time.  I mean with hardened criminals not the country club.  They are more concerned about making examples out of people like Paris Hilton and Martha Stewart than senator or congressman so and so who has congressional privilege which by the way entitles him to a "Get out of Jail Free Card" and to a pension NO MATTER WHAT.  What other job on the planet can you tell your employer that these are the rules for me but they don't apply to you.
I'm starting to feel like Jesse Venture.  Sometimes you just want to buy an island somewhere and get out of the corrupt BS that drives our NATION.  I am American 100%, but we have a broken system that needs to be fixed and no one has the GUTS to stand up and FIX IT!
Mr. Jefferson, only you know in your heart if you are Guilty or not so when you look in the mirror and see yourself as tainted, DON'T bring down the state of Louisiana because of your pride.

I am at a point of total disbelief!
Can you believe that this congressman from Louisiana has been charged with about 200 counts of breaking the law and is still representing the people? Not only that, but if he gets convicted, he will still be eligible to collect his pension which is paid for by the taxpayers!  Come on dude! Step up to the plate and step down! You can't do justice to the people that you represent and defend yourself.  I can't wait to hear this defense. OMG, I can only imagine. 
For those of you who are completely in the dark, Jefferson is accused of taking bribes from foreign countries (IE. Africa) and was caught with 90 thousand dollars in his freezer, which is exactly where I keep my money:).... NOT!
I just can't believe that this dude is going to tie this up in court on technical BS that he'll use to drag it out until people lose interest and the judge plays let's make a deal.  All part of this great system we have here.

It just amazes me how far from reality our politicians really are when it comes to everyday comparisons.  If any of you have ever had an exterminator come in to your home for any vermin, you know what happens.  First, the company will ask you to leave.  Then, they go after all of the little creatures that are infesting your house.  I use this analogy to compare our view of the Iraq situation.  My idea would scare the rest of the middle east.  We start an immediate evacuation of Pectic to start.  We can do this by using checkpoints and national IDs.  Then, we flatten BAGDAD.  If we don't get the bad guys at least we show them that we refuse to take the radical BS that they are feeding us everyday with these nut cases that keep blowing themselves up.  Did I mention we may try a little deception like they do.  The difference is that we are sooooooo gullible that we fall for these kind of sneaky ideas. 
We could also pretend to pull out and every clown that runs out in the street to celebrate when we start to pull out is killed.  I could go on, but I know that the powers at be couldn't be me in a game of strategy much less any of the sneaky petes that live in IRAQ.

What is the problem with our government that we do not take every measure to defend our troops at all costs?  It makes me feel like my safety is at risk.  How can we justify letting Mario Lazano go to trial in Italy without American representation?  Our officials and our citizens should not judge our soldiers on their actions especially when their defense of our country helps to keep the enemy at bay.  I am truly sorry if innocent people die, but people die every day and when you are in a war zone.... you better be extremely careful, especially when there are a bunch of nuts that are willing to blow themselves up to serve their god while taking out as many innocent people as they can.  I am a American with a French/Italian blood line, and I am proud to say that I thank God every day that my ancestors chose to leave their countries for greener pastures in the US. 

The decisions that the Governments of France and Italy make are an embarrassment to me, but our government is failing to stand up for what is right.  Protect our troops at all cost, and win the war at all cost!
Stop tying the hands of our troops and win this war against terror.  The "Boots on the Ground" strategy is a joke.  The only time a soldier should have to be deployed is after the the area has been secured through intense indiscriminate bombing.  If you want to give the enemy a chance, allow the people a 24 hour period to leave, then good luck!  I believe that when the soldier that is defending my rights puts his boots on the ground, this government better defend everything he does short of rape and stealing other than that, ALL BETS ARE OFF.  Democrat/Republican/CITIZEN protect and defend Mario like he protected you!
